At Natural Frequency Health, we are passionate about helping you to reduce your pain and live better. We start with listening. We take the time necessary to understand what the source of your pain is and how it is affecting your life.
If pain is a new challenge or a long standing one, we can help make sure it does not stop your life. While we are working to reduce or eliminate your pain and find the root cause, we can help you build strategies to work through it. We offer support for better sleep, higher energy, enhanced focus, and more stamina to keep you moving forward.
While many pain interventions rely on injections and/or drugs that may create risk for dependence or abuse, we take a different approach. Our preference is to work with your body's innate healing mechanisms to help you live better. It is our belief that this approach leads to longer lasting benefit without the need to return for endless therapy.
We can help with a wide variety of primary and secondary headache syndromes, including migraine, tension type, TMD, neuralgias, and more.
Pain in the back, neck, and joints happens to many of us, but you do not have to just live with it. Whether your pain is due to myofascial dysfunction, intervertebral disc related problems, arthritis, or secondary to post-surgcial recovery, we can help. We work with you to find out where the pain is starting and then find strategies to help you heal, reduce pain and stiffness, and regain quality of life.
Neuropathic pain comes in many forms. Compression and entrapment of nerves may cause conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome, meralgia paresthetica, trigeminal neuralgia, or sciatic pain. Nerves can be damaged by diabetes, demyelination, chemotherapy, and other exposures. Some infections can cause neuropathic pain such as with herpes family viruses like Varicella zoster. Ask us about our approach for any of these conditions that may be challenging you and limiting your quality of life.
If you are in pain because of inflammation from autoimmune conditions such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Multiple Sclerosis, we have tools and strategies to reduce inflammation, reduce pain and stiffness, and help you enjoy more from life.
From sprains and strains to bursitis and fasciitis, we can work with you to recover from the damage. Whether its bones, tendons, ligaments, muscles, bursa, fascia, facets, discs, menscisus, labrum, or other part of your structure, we offer ways to help you heal. We can even work with you to reduce pain related scar tissue, adhesions, and calcific changes.
Pain secondary to surgical procedures can seriously reduce quality of life. With recent nation-wide efforts to limit opioid prescriptions, patients are often left with uncontrolled pain following surgeries. Pain may also continue or arise well after surgeries, and these syndromes may be difficult to treat with conventional methods. Sometimes unintentional nerve injuries from spine surgery, joint arthroplasty, or plastic surgery may create pain over the long run. Also, many surgical procedures may lead to formation of scar tissue and adhesions, which can cause stiffness, discomfort, and dysfunction in other parts of the body. We offer options for treatment to help you reduce or eliminate pain related to post-surgical complications. Call or send us an email to see how me can help.
When no other therapy brings relief, we often find emotional burdens create pain in different parts of the body. Indeed, specific emotions may contribute to unique pain syndromes. Many patients we have worked with tell us they have tried many modalities of therapy without benefit. This is often an indication that the problem may be related to emotionally driven factors. Be sure to ask us how we can help you find relief from pain connected to emotionally distressing or traumatic life experiences.
Some pain syndromes are well-known, but the causes are not thoroughly understood, which can make treatment challenging. Below are examples of difficult syndromes or conditions where we may be able to help you:
Burning mouth syndrome (BMS)
Phantom Limb Pain
Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS)
Adhesive Arachnoiditis (AA)
